I’m Home!

We had a fabulous time on our vacation. Thanks Dad and M.! But…no matter how fun the vacation, there is always something wonderful about arriving home, opening your front door, and aahhh….home…..

Yesterday (day 1 at home) I was a zombie, still recovering from my four hour flight and six hours total of driving by myself with three children ages six and under. My 5 year-old and 6 year-old are great travellers, but my 19 month-old is not.

I tried a few of your traveling with young toddlers tricks from the comments to my Traveling Unplugged post (thanks!), but alas, I had little success. She is an awful traveler. She did have ten minutes of fun with a water bottle, but suffice it to say that most of the flight was pretty ugly.

I am, however, home. That is all that matters. Plus, chances are that I will never meet any of those people on the plane again in my lifetime!

Glad you’re back home safe and sound. My hat is off to you for traveling with your children- I have yet to take my one daughter anywhere in a plane!
