The sound matching on the exploratorium link (the last one) is very cool. We also used your links to get a neat idea about creating an “eardrum” from a bowl and saran wrap! For our project, we made a telephone from cups and string and went on a sound scavenger hunt. Have a wonderful day!

My Dad came to help us start replacing the roof on Friday – lots of wonderful sounds there – so I took photos of cutting and drilling and wandered around looking for other sounds, like DS playing in the sink – sorry, I mean helping me with the dishes – and DD breaking a mug (urgh) and then I got out all our instruments and some other sound-making things – boxes and whatnot – and took more photos. My plan was to put them together in a book but it hasn’t eventuated as yet. So I’ll just have to say playing with all those noisy things was our project!

Feathers shouldn’t be too hard as we’re supposedly plucking our soon-to-be-dead rooster this week…
