I didn’t see Mr. Linky either, but we did make a little rubber band boat out of an Altoids tin this week. It was fast to make, and fast in the water too.

Good fun. We used to make rubber band ‘cars’ out of large tins when I was a kid.

We don’t have a blog, but I’ve decided to start doing the unplugged project and writing a note about it in the comments, if that’s ok.

For fast, we’ve done something I’ve been planning for years – made a car race board game as a gift for my father-in-law, who’s a Formula 1 fanatic. It’s not completely finished, yet, but I’ve designed the pieces, which can be used like a train set to make lots of different tracks, and I have planned the rules. We need to have a play with it with some friends on the weekend to test them. I downloaded some pictures of racing cars for my 2yo to colour in. We’ll use them to print the rules on the back of, and to decorate the box.
