Potty time must be the top most frustrating activity. Our little guy is almost there. Been in pants for 3 wks now and only a few accidents. We drive around with a potty in back....just in case. He deathly afraid of those loud suction flushes especially when he flushes whilst on. YAY!!! What finally did it for my son, who had no consistent interest and just didn't care if he wore diapers, was peer pressure. He was one of the youngest in his preschool class and the very last one in diapers. Some of the kids started making fun of him, and within about 2 weeks, he was suddenly pretty reliable. I don't recommend the Peer Pressure method, but it worked for us! Congratulations! YAY!!!

What finally did it for my son, who had no consistent interest and just didn’t care if he wore diapers, was peer pressure. He was one of the youngest in his preschool class and the very last one in diapers. Some of the kids started making fun of him, and within about 2 weeks, he was suddenly pretty reliable. I don’t recommend the Peer Pressure method, but it worked for us!
