Has it been a year? I saw this challenge a year ago, and we've been TV free ever since. We sold our TV and canceled cable, and I do not miss it one bit! My husband misses watching sports and the occasional veg session, but otherwise, we wonder how we ever had time to watch it before! We've found so many other things to keep our minds occupied! monets last blog post..Aren't they Romantic?

I’m thinking it kind of amusing and ironic that today, in the middle of TV-turnoff-week, my toddler made his first two word sentence;

“Watch Teletubbies”

I didn’t realize this was TV turnoff week, we canceled cable and sold our TV a month ago, and haven’t looked back…don’t miss it, it’s easy. In fact we didn’t watch the week before we canceled, just to get an idea of what life would be like, and well didn’t miss it then either, however it’s much more tempting when it’s looking at you from all angles of the living room!
